The tall grape arbor provides shade in the summer, while letting sun through in the winter. By harnessing passive cooling, the house stays nice and cool in the summer, and is afforded the warmth of the sun during winter months.

| The driveway is steep, sloping downhill and shared with another house. A challenge best overcome by riding a bicycle, but as you can see, we can manage to stuff 6 cars in when necessary. |
